Tis the Season

'Tis the season!  We *LOVE* Christmas decorations around our house.  Every year is a big production that requires about a month to haul big and little holiday charms from the attic.  The results are worth it though.  The house couldn't be more festive, colorful, or bright.  Here are a few of the little details that go into the decorations that overtake every corner of every room throughout the holiday season.

Big bows, garland, lights, and beads on the banisters

Garland, lights, and bows to brighten up the mantle where the stockings are hung

Big, decorative hooks for hanging stockings on the mantle

Gotta have cookies and milk for Santa!  Why not on his own dishes?  :)

Reindeer in the foyer

This little house that plugs in and illuminates from the inside
has been around our house for as long as I can remember.

Poinsettias and large vases filled with ball ornaments and strings of beads
can add color to any corner of a room, and they're easy to arrange!

A wrack for hanging holiday mugs adds fun spice to the kitchen,
especially if you have hot chocolate or coffee drinkers in the house!

A few Nutcrackers in front of another vase filled with beads, ornaments, and garland

One of several Manger scenes in front of a big window

A large bowl with pine cones, fruit, ornaments, beads and a candle
works great for a punch of holiday cheer on any coffee or side table.

We line the stairs with a Santa on each step.

Happy Holidays to you and yours!
